Hello Everybody,

I have cleared my CA final exams Nov2011.(first attempt)

Should I wait for Campus Interview or I should seek employment on my own?

GMCS Course is pending.(feb batch)

Hi Nagarjun Sir

R u Intrested in Practise or in Job

If u r Intrested in Practise try to start on own firm ,if it is not possible try to join in already existed firms.

If u r intrested in Job , Wait for campus interviews or If u have any good reference go for it

If there is a reference, then its advisable to utilise the same, else you may wait for campus interviews. Few guidelines of campus placements are given below for your reference:

F. Indicative guidelines for Candidates:

1. A Non Refundable Registration fee amounting to Rs 1,000/- shall be charged from the candidates who wish to apply for the Campus Placement Programme.

2. A candidate can appear for only Five interviews irrespective of the fact that he/she is short listed by several organisation but at the moment he is offered job by any organisation and is accepted by him/her in writing then the candidate will not be permitted to attend the rest of the campus interviews.

3. Eligibility for appearing in Campus Placement Programme to be held in February-March, 2012.

The candidates who fulfil the following criteria are eligible to appear in the Campus Placement Programme to be held in February-March, 2012:

Clearance of Final Examination of Chartered Accountancy Course

Completion of Articleship/GMCS Course

Submission of Application for ICAI Membership*

Nov , 2011

(i)Completing their articleship and GMCS latest by 25th March , 2012 in cases where candidates are opting for centres like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi as their first choice and (ii) before 21st February, 2012 in cases opting other centre as their first choice.

For (i)10^th April, 2012for (ii) 10th March, 2012

May 2011, November, 2010

or whose CA Final results were declared in revaluation/re verification after 24th August, 2011.

(i)Completing their articleship and GMCS Between 1^stNovember 2011 and latest by 25th March , 2012 in cases where candidates are opting for centres like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi as their first choice and (ii) before 21st February, 2012 in cases opting other centre as their first choice.

*While attending the Orientation Programme/Campus Interviews candidates should either carry the relevant proof of applying for the membership of the Institute or should submit a written declaration that they would apply for the membership by dates as mentioned above.

4. The Articleship and GMCS should have been completed by the candidates who are applying for the Campus Placement Programme before the actual date of interview.
