Hi my father purchased a land for 14lakhs in 2005. He died. Now we want to sell the land. When we checked the papers it is written as 6 lakhs which i think was govt value at that time.

Now if we sell what will be our purchase value. 14 or 6 lakhs. If 14 lakhs then what documents should i produce

Cost of acquisition should be supported by documentary evidences. Please check carefully your agreement value. Further, registration charges and stamp duty paid at the time of purchase is required to be added.
