Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether it's advisable for a proprietor to withdraw funds from a profitable business regularly. It clarifies that while drawings are a normal part of business, the capital account and drawings account are distinct. The consensus is that such withdrawals are generally acceptable, especially if company law permits directors to draw funds, provided the accounting entries (Dr. Drawings, Cr. Bank) are correctly managed and the capital account is reconciled.

Yes, as there must be some drawings in every business
Thank you sir
Capital account is seperate and drawings seperate.

Apart from equity = assets - liabilities there is nothing imortant. I think there are company laws that directors can draw accordingly.

Dr. Drawings

Cr. Bank both always tally. And capital account is reconciled with bank.
