Dear Friends

If X (consignor) issued EWB then as per rules he can cancel it within 24 hours of its generation.

however Y (consignee) can reject EWB within 72 hours of the details being made available to him.

Now my question is X has generated EWB and the movement of goods has started 12 hours ago but now Y rejects EWB.

But the goods are in movement, Truck driver was holding EWB and in mid way consignee has rejected EWB making the EWB invalid.

what shall be done now in this case?

in this case X has track his account and see reject my eway bill if Y reject eway bill then goods return

in this case that time again X or transporter generate a way bill and sub type goods return ...

what will transporter fill in FROM field

TO i think will be the consignor address but what to fill in the FROM field

also what document type while returning.

when transporter was taking goods to consignee EWB was prepared filling invoice details but while returning what document type will be filled?

in from feild transporter give details from that place he reched that time and from that place he come back with this goods

raise a credit note for that sales return ... ( cause when you make eway bill you make a invoice )

ex- transporter have to go mumbai to kolkata but in middle somewhere like pune eway bil rejected in this case transpoter/who generate eway bill make a credit note in from receipnt gstn kolkata and in to supplier gstn mumbai .. no matter the truck rechead pune ... by credit note or this new eway bill ( base on this credit note) you can make transport and take goods back
