Cancellation of gst no.and intimation from the department
one cable operator wants to cancel their gst number and submit the request for cancellation on 22-2-22 after filing all returns. but after few days department send intimation for submit the account detail, profit & loss account and balance sheet. if not not submit then request automatically rejected. the said person has not detail mention above. what is the better solution for this problem and also guide me how to cancel gst no. any other way.

Normally this does not happen. Meet your jurisdictional officer to whom the cancellation was allotted.
The dept want to ensure that you have paid all GST as per financial statements ..So visit the office addres which is quoted in the notice
It just because of poor track record or less details are provided for, once you appear in Jurisdiction it will resolve
Submit all necessary documents to GST dept after discussion with your Auditor
