I am a IPCC student and I am seriously in a time crunch because I do a part-time job. Is it possible for someone to just consult the study materials and do the practice manuals and pass the exam?
What alternative do you suggest?

Refer the practice manuals,RTP's,Mock test papers and past year qs as well...these are sufficient for exam preparation as the institute asks qs from these materials often....Practice manual is very much important.Apart from this you can go for other references which can also get you more practice.
