Can individual claim service tax amt paid on medi-claim 80d

Not sure but strictly speaking service tax on premium is not eligbile for claiming deduction treating it as part of premium. service tax is tax on service rendered by insurer. Insurer is just acting as collecting agency for service tax ( even in case of TDS :- TDS is not deducted on service tax)

Seems it can be claimed only where separate charge is not made for service tax. 

Request for other members to share if there is any circular on this.

Pls note that in all cases, deduction is available for the premium amount paid and amount paid such as Service Tax, Interest on late payment, penalty are not part of Premium, hence ruled out for deduction.
