If Any changes to convert ITR 1 to ITR 4 for the AY 2017-8
File revised return (ITR4) for AY 2017-18, under sec. 139(5); (return as usually prepared); with the acknowledgement and date as per original return.

Sir.,
It's mean can I go to file 139(5) if even ITR 1 processed...?!
Yes, if by processed .... you mean to say...... u/s. 143(1) of IT act.......
No, if any detailed assessment order u/s 143(3) received.
Thank You for the replies Sir...
I'll try to revise the return in ITR 4...
In case any difference from ITR 1 and ITR 4... as in Computation
ITR - 1 -
IFOS (NETPROFIT FROM RETAIL SALES HOME APPLIANCES & Etc - Rs. 394,340
Tax Paid Rs. 8840
I'll prepare ITR 4 as
Gross Sales and Services - Rs. 11,55,450
Net Profit Rs. 394,450
As per above details any query from ITD ?
When there is no change in total income, and thus no change in tax liability........so, no chance of any doubt or query..... unless otherwise any AIR reporting........
Sir.,
The Above said Assessee filed his ITR from AY 13-14 to 16-17 in ITR 4S. In AY 2017-18 filed in ITR 1 but same business...
In this situation can I go to revise the ITR - 1 to ITR 4...???
Is there any tax demand........
Or accepted as declared under ITR...............
