Quick Summary
Yes, you can generally pay more advance tax in your third instalment than you did in your second. If you encounter an 'out of range' error when trying to pay a higher amount, it's likely due to your bank's net-banking transaction limit, not a government restriction. You may need to adjust this limit with your bank to make the larger payment.

Yes, No problem.

But sir it keeps on pooping entered amount is out of range.

I paid 20000 in 2nd Installment and now I want to pay 25000

Yes you can pay the advanced tax.. you have to pay 45% of total tax in second instalment and 75% of total tax in third installment by 15 December 2021

Change the limit in your bank's net-banking portal.

Government will never ever have a problem taking money. If you want to pay 50 crore tomorrow they will happily take it!

The limit might be from your bank as someone mentioned already.
