Can I file GSTR 9 for the f.y. 2017-18
I want to file GSTR 9 for the F.y. 2017-18. Can I file ?

No you can not file now , last extended date was in the year 2020.
You can visit to near by GST Department to you ( jurisdiction) and discuss with them and confirm .
E filing may not be possible for GSTR-9 of FY-2017-18
I dont think there is any bar on filing of GSTR-9. If the portal is allowing then file the same with late fees.
Web site allows maximum two years .. You can't file GSTR-9 from website. Kindly check once

This restriction is only through portal. No restriction as such in law
We know that 2017-18 deadline is over and it can't be filed unless dept give a relaxation
If filing after deadline was not possible then there won't have been a concept of late fees
Extended deadline is also over.They gave time almost 1.5 years additionally.
I think Zafar Sir is correct , with late , penalty he can file , So check on portal GSTR9 2017-18 is live for filing or not ,also discuss with GST department too.
