No,you cannot claim medical expenditure unless there are reasons attributing it exclusively  to your business.

Premium paid could be claimed u/s 80D.

Premium on medical insurance can be claimed u/s 80D as said by Jaspal. In addition, you can claim reimbursement of medical expenditure up to Rs.15,000 pa if salaried.

I also agree with poornima madhava.
I also agree with poornima madhava.

Agreed with above solution..

Yup, One is deduction and another is allowance allowed upto Rs.15000.

A. Premium on medical insurance can be claimed u/s 80D . B. In addition, you can claim reimbursement of medical expenditure up to Rs.15,000 pa if salaried.
Medical reimbursement is allowed as an exemption on actual production of bills to the employer up to Rs. 15,000. The medical insurance premium incurred is eligible for deduction under section 80D, to the extent of limits permitted.

agree with above

I agree with the other members that you can avail 2 benefits ;

1. Premium on medical insurance  for self, spouse, children, parents can be claimed u/s 80D

2.reimbursement medical expenditure up to Rs.15,000 pa

BUT there can be a situation where you can avail 3 benefits , according to the latest amandments in 80D.

AMANDMENT :

allowance of medical expenditure of 30,000, if following conditions are satisied:

(a) expenditure on self  / spouse/ parents and

(b) who is of the age of 80 years or more

(c) indian resident

(d) NO health insurance premium paid for such person

NOW you can HAVE  these 3 benefits :

1. reimbursement medical expenditure up to Rs.15,000 pa

2. Premium on medical insurance  for self, spouse, children, parents ( OF ANY AGE ) can be claimed u/s 80D

3. medical expenditure of 30,000  u/s 80D OF THE RESIDENT PARENT OF 80 YEARS OR MORE OF WHOME THERE IS NO MEDICAL INSURANCE.
