Hi, I've registered a sole prioprietorship setup and as per the GST rules, I don't any turnover yet but since it's ecommerce type I need to get GST. So here are my queries -

1. Suppose I do get alloted GSTIN and I wish to close this ecommerce business, can I cancel GST registration later on?

2. I don't expect any sales for the 1st 6 months of operation so do I've to submit zero figures in the GST portal every quarter?

3. Recently, SBI Credit Card, HDFC Ergo asked for GSTIN.. so although that's not directly connected with my business in anyway can I claim GST refund from the GST that I pay to these guys for the expenses that I incur?

2. Yes...
3. No. If it's not connected your business...

1. Two options in 1st question.
I) No : If you added the business activityof e-commerce only then no way...
ii) Yes :If you added multiple business activities then Yes...
now for e commerce business if turnover below 20 lacs no need to register in GST
so you just cancel your GST and continue your business in e commerce if your turnover is below 20 lakhs

3. "No.. if it's not connected your business"... actually, it's like this.. I pay my business expenses through Credit Card and GST was charged on the statement/credit payment.. so in this case I can ask for gst refund from the gst portal right?

1. Under 1 GST license I can mention multiple business activities?

If my buyers are from different states then I've to charge GST isn't?

My seller sells products after adding GST on his end.. so if I cancel GST I won't be able to get input tax credit right?

- Yes... But, In my view If Single premises then Reasonable Supplies is Applicable...

Also you can open Additional place of business...
