can composition scheme can issue gst invoice to another state party
my client registered under regular registration GST under the state of maharashtra.he sold goods of Rs.80000/- to his party registrated under composition scheme in the state of Rajasthan. Now my client party in the state of Rajasthan return back same goods to my client by issueing GST tax invoice by charging IGST tax in his invoice. whether invoice issued by composition scheme holder is valied one. can my client can claim ITC on this invoice.

A person registered under composition scheme cannot issue a Taxable invoice.
In this scenario you can ask your client to issue a Credit note to the supplier in Rajasthan for the returned amount
what the person registered in rajasthan has done incorrect treatment.... how a composition can make inter state supply...
he should be considered in regular scheme
. hence invoice stating IGST is valid for you to claim ITC but that person of Rajasthan has to withdaraw from composition

Ask your client to issue a credit note to reverse the tax.on sales return.
