Can builder deny GST invoice for charging maintenance on interior works?

I have a flat in a newly built apartment complex. Builder charges some maintenance+GST @ 18% to the flat owners for carrying out interior works. But the builder is refusing to provide a GST invoice for the same. Can this be legally challenged?

The builder is legally obligated to provide a GST invoice for any GST charged on the services provided to you.

If the builder is refusing to provide a GST invoice, you can raise a complaint with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) department. Yes the Rate is 18% & he is liable to Issue Tax Invoice for the same. So he cannot deny for Invoice.
Yes it can be legally challenged.
