Can anyone tell me!!!!!!!

For a commerce side Student,ET is definately the first one...Read the first page(as genrerally it contains news and updates for every kind of reader) ,Interviews with different Personalities,different surveys,..n also read the page "Economy,Finance and Markets".

Problems will be there in beginning,but u will get familier to it after sometime..many of the times, its quite difficult to read the newspaper in a single day..a lot is there..I sometimes leave it to  weekend..

If u dont want to continue with ET,Times of India will also be good in improving your English skills and serve you with a lot of knowlegde...

Don't restrict yourself to the newspaper only. Observe people around you who speak in english and also watch english news channels and observe the anchor. 

Observation is one of the best method to improve yourself in various aspects. Keep your spirit high.

I agree with Radhika, The Hindu is a very good newspaper especially for improving your command over the English language.

If you are looking to improve your vocabulary, then "Word Power Made Easy" by Norman Lewis is a book I would recommend.

the best way to improve english is watch Hollywood moovies. also keep looking at Subtitles(dialoge appearing on the screen) . Watch on Computer/ Laptop where u can pause the movie and read the subtitle and then listen it. ILETS students are suggested to watch MOovies to have good famework of English by their teacher. many students use this way.

watch 2-3 movies you will see the result. it will be better if you see comedy or family movie and not action.

you can also study business lines...this paper covers upto date news related to tax and accounts in comparison with any other paper...and u wont feel boring while reading it...so once try it....

 What ever paper you read, read it properly. That means..

Read one topic fully and try to understand. No need to read every topic in the paper.

Get familiarity about the topic. In later days once you get information about same topic you will find it easy and interesting. Day by day you will develop unknowingly.

Very good way to increase communication is "Speak in dreams". i.e. when ever you think about some thing try to think about it in english. Speak in enlish. No need to speak to other. Speak with yourself.

Read Economic Times everyday, even if it doesnot make sense.A day will come when without your daily dose of ET, you will feel something is quite missing.Equally beneficial are Business Standard, Financial Express,Business line ......

Next in your list should be Business Magazines like Business World, Business today,Outlook money,Money Today,Outlook Profit, Business India......

Read CA Journal and Profession related subscripttions.

There are many other things which you can do to keep yourself updated ( side effect : they improve your english!!!)  as long as you can find sufficient time for your daily office work and CA course material.
