Can a software engineer do CA , Is it feasible (or) I am t

Hi,

Any one can do CA I am aslo B.sc student .As per earlier scheme u can join CA directly based

on your degree but now u need to pass CPT.u are saying u had done articles three months i

think if u are already registered that time u can continue.u r asking  week end one hour

is enough to pass CA but it is not sufficient u must put full effort then u can get succeeded in

this field.As a science students we can easily catch get sucess in this field.

S u need to register first for CPT.

if u want to continue your current job & salary its better to join ICWA because your current as well as previous experience might  be counted .Compare CA, ICWA is not that respectable but time is changing & very soon it will be very well recognised.

yes I want to continue my current software  job. but 2 years down the line , if I loose my job( software jobs are not perminent ) I want to join in any CA firm  My close friend  is charted accountent. but even to join in his firm I should have some thing in my hand. then only he will be interested to take me. 

so my goal is 1) continue with my current  job (and) 2) do some course which is recognised by CA firm. (or/and) 3)do a course which is adds value to my software job so that Idont loose my job.  

what is QA/software testing domain ? .please provide some information & do not worry . ICWA will provide secure job, even add value to your current job or perhaps u can even start practice. YEs CA firms do take ICWA.

hey good step.. but be aware of the compulsory articleship of 3 years u have to undergo after u pass ipcc.(previous inter).. u can do no other job during that time and u mite not get an attractive stipened too. good luck.. me too a bio-maths student.. the syllabus is not too tough. just vast,, thats it.. gud luck..

I test software applications, web applications of credit card and banking domains.  Sometimes Chain Management  .

From our conversation I understood ICWAI is feasible at this moment. How to start with ICWAI? Does at least  ICWAI helps me of  a getting  job (if at all If I loose software job)

need not worry about traininig .if your 8 years of experience is recognised u will get exemption.
