Can a graduate handle it returns of non audit case?

I am a Graduate Student providing serives for the individual and small business in my surroundings. Recently an Assessee approached me for his IT Return filing. He has already submitted his returns for AY 2011-12, 2012-13 through auditor. Here i have the following doubts.

  1. For the AY 2013-14 his turnover is less than 1 crore. I thing in this case he is not under Audit cause. So, i could do his returns?
  2. He got the Digital Signature on his previous 2 years returns. Right now i don't the process of Digital Signature   Can i do it manually for the present year. Doesn't it lead to any trouble to the assesse if i do that?
  3. For the AY 2011-12 his returns were filing under Non Audit clause and for the AY 2012-13 he filed under Audit Clause. With support to my first point for AY 2013-14 he is under NON AUDIT case. If i do his returns now under NON Audit case will that give any shock to my client?

Please help in this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Venkkatesh

Ya obviously any one can handle

It has been nowhere wriiten in acts / rules who can manage the ultimate responsibility is of the assesse doesn't matters whosoever has filed.

anyways ans to your questions...

1. ya you can its not required to be audited but make sure that the Net profit as shown by you is greater than 8% of the total turnover or gross receipts otherwise you will have to get your accounts audited refer sec. 44ad for the same.

2. Using DSC is very easy you can refer the manual or call helpline as you will ave to get once registered and the will have to attaced at the time of filing of return.

3. Why will it be a shock its your responsibility to let him know the reasons and explain the sections to him in precise and lucid language.
