Can a director of pvt ltd that has been voluntarily struck off, surrender or deactivate the DIN?

We struck off our company few months ago. Neither of the ex directors plan to be directors in future of any company so keeping DINs and doing KYC every years seems cumbersome.

Can we file dir-5 ? Is there any other way to deactivate DIN other than not submitting kyc?

Quick Summary
If your private limited company has been voluntarily struck off and you no longer intend to be a director, you can stop filing annual KYC for your Director Identification Number (DIN). While DINs cannot be formally surrendered if they've been used, ceasing KYC will lead to deactivation. Should you wish to be appointed as a director again in the future, the DIN can be reactivated by paying a fee.

DIN can only be surrendered if it was unused. If you don't wish to keep filing KYC, you can stop. It will get deactivated that's all. If you wish to be appointed again in the future, you can pay Rs. 5,000 and reactivate it.

Yes provided the disqualification is there
