Dear all,
A property has been sold to 2 persons who have purchased it jointly.
TDS has been deducted by both parties. While trying to enter tds details
in Table TDS3 of ITR2, against the Gross receipts, the corresponding head
of income i.e. Income from Capital Gains is not appearing in the drop down
menu.
Has anyone faced this difficulty? Can anyone offer a solution?

Facing same difficulty. Even filed Grievance with IncTax website, but no response till now.
Many have faced this and many other problems due to bugs in the ITR-2 and ITR-3 forms [Excel, pixel, online, offline, anything ] and 15th Sept will arrive rapidly.
Highlight the problems in few newspapers. Send Letter to the Editors of the newspapers.
I-T staff are very very busy with other important issues and may not get time to look at the thousands of grievances of return filers. (Although, by some miracle, a few fortunate ones succeeded in getting some reply and help).
