Can a director of a company work with other employer

Co Act 2013 666 views 1 replies

can a person who is working as an employee in an organisation (not being a company)  become director of a company and receive amount from the company as salary/remuneration/sitting fees?

would there be any legal hassels if the person who is a director of a company works as a full time employee in another organisation?

A Whole Time Director and Managing Director cannot give his services to other ogranization beacause they are fully involved with the company and drawing monthly remuneration and he didnt get sitting fee from the company.

Other than these two, like part time director or non execxutive director or additional director can givr their services o other organizations, whether full time or part time.

Thanks & Regards
