Yes. You require knowledge of the Tax you intend to practice. Also you must be able to effectively navigate in the concerned Departments

CFP + CA inter should be enff for now

u can also sit for ITO exams

There is no specific exams or guidelines for becoming a tax consultant. However the thorough knowledge of interpreting the act and the tax laws is required. Apart from the above a better rapport with the department will make your life easy.

No particular qualification required, just u should have thorough knowlwdge of tax concepts so that u can handle the clients effectively.

Is that mean one need not be CA to practice as a tax consultant??? Or you mean can work as an employee for some tax consultant ? Also tell me how can visiting card be printed? What he will write in visiting card? CA inter???
