Dear CA POOJA,

According to me for CAMPUS PLACEMENT You need Membership Number.

One should have complete His/Her GMCS and Articleship before getting Membership No.

Your friends will be eligible for Campus Placement after Getting Number and not only completing CA Exams or Completing Articleship.

As far as my knowledge goes,i dont think membership number is mandatory for sitting in campus placements..

membership number not required but articleship completion is required.

gmcs completion also required....

I had participated in September 2012 Campus. There is no need for Membership No.  The candidate is required to complete the GMCS while applying for campus. As far as Training or articleship is concerned ICAI generally mentions the last date till which the candidate is required to complte his/her articleship on the CMII portal.

I have a question for Pooja mam.

Your friend who cleared CA exams in May 12 but her training is due for almost one year. Can every ca final  student do so?

i mean to say if my training is due for around one year can i appear in final attempt?

I contacted ICAI and they told me wait until serving last 6 months of training.

There are conditions on candidates who are eligible to appear for ICAI Campus Placements

For Campus held in August-September, a candidates shd complete his articleship before 31st Oct and for Campus held in Feb-March, you are required to complete your articleship before 30th april
