Calculation Of Voting Rights u/s 47

prefrence share holders are not entitled to vote
they will vote only in case if thier rights are misplaced

My question is in regards to section 47(2) ,Which enumerates certain triggering conditions when pref holders entitled on all resolutions,and 1st proviso of this section says that " Proportion of voting right of equity holders with proportion of preference holder shall be in same proportion as total paid up capital in respect of equity shares bears to total paid up capital in respect of preference shares"

So how to calculate voting rights of equity holders in a meeting where preference holders are also attending '? Interpretation of this provision with example !!

sorry for repition in question ,due to error while submitting reply it posted multiple times ...

it simply means that there will be as many votes as there are shares,(both equity shares and preference shares)..... there is no need of any explanation...
