say i am holding 5000 shares of Teledata informatics Ltd. cost price Rs. 6 Lac, due to separation of cos. different different businesses, the company had separated it marine & technology units.
& alloted us 5000 each of Teledata Marine solutions Ltd. & Teledata Technology solutions Ltd. & also holding 5000 shares of Teledata informatics Ltd. in my demat A/c
Now my question is that how i can calculate the cost of 5000 each shares held of Teledata Marine solutions Ltd. & Teledata Technology solutions Ltd?
