You can say MBA are better than CA only if MBA is pursued from reputed institutes like IIM or XLRI. Otherwise CAs are of course the master of finance field....we study every aspects of finance field...be it Financial Reporting or be it Financial Management or be it Corporate Laws or be it taxation and even The Information Technology. The amount of hardwork that a CA student does in assimilating all these wide range of subjects is something really commendable and we can't compare it with the level of hardwork by MBA students. Though the initial pay a qualified CA get may be bit low but still the increment that an experienced CA gets over a period of time is far better than any other professionals. A professor of IIM-A, In a recent interview with Economic Times, himself admitted that though there are initial struggles but a practising Chartered Accountant ends up earning far more than any IIM passed out after some years of experience. So the bottom line is that in the long run, CAs are the Champions....all that this profession demands from us is patience. (CA is all about Patience...be it the patience to clear exams...or be it about minting currencies after qualifying. And patience does pay)
