CA studies wthout attending classes

R/ Sir,
I am a student of CA Final yr.
My attempt is in Nov. 2008. Currently i have started my studies and they are at initial stage.
I am thinking that i can do the studies on my own also. I have confidence that i can cover my syllabus effectively.
But at the same time my other friends are saying just join classes and after that do the studies. Even if i joined classes i has to study on my own, classes may not be helpful in long term.
So even if i have to study on my own why should not study on my own. This will save lot of time and money.
I have notes of classes.
BUT, at the same time i am worried that, if my decision goes wrong and i fail in exam, then everyone will say to me that," I told u at that time to join classes, but u didnot listen to me"
I am really confused.
I request u please guide me sir, what should i do?

hi frnd in my opinion u should join classes for effective study bcoz ur attempt is very near, u dont hav sufficient time to go for self study.in both of the cases u hav to study at ur home but after class u will feel much confortable to study in home.if u study self n feel after some time that u should have been join class then presure wil build on u.as u have less time i wil suggest u to go for class.all the best

friend..... the thing is that u should hv faith in urself. i hv seen so many persons who clear thier exams without any coaching. but the thing is that if u have .01% doubt u must take classes as the same will also provide some professionalism

DEAR KARAN, EVERY STUDENT HAS OWN FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES, COMMITMENTS TOWARDS FAMILY , OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES , FINACIAL CONSTRAINTS, GEOGRAPHICAL CONSTRAINTS. IN MY OPINION SELF STUDY IS THE BEST WAY FOR CA STUDIES BUT IF YOU CAN KEEPING IN VIEW THE ABOVE CONSTRAINTS YOU CAN GO FOR COACHING CLASSES, THEN U MUST GO FOR IT. ITS TOTAL YOUR DECISION. IN NUTSHELL, I AM DAMN CONFIDENT THAT U CAN CLEAR THE EXAMS WITHOUT COACHING, BUT IF POSSIBLE YOU SHOULD GO FOR COACHING.
