One needs to register for CPT even though you are CS completed, as per existing rules. However, there is a new rule proposing to exempt from CPT (entrance to CA) for CS Inter passed students. This issue is yet to be approved by Central Govt. Once this is approved, you are exempted from CPT and can directly register for IPCC. Even after the new rules come into force, only after clearing IPCC 1st group, you can be able to register for 3-year articleship. However, if you are a Bcom graduate with 55% marks, then you can directly join articleship based on Bcom degree and simultaneously study IPCC along with articleship. Pursuing any other course while doing articleship needs ICAI prior approval. The new notification is expected in either a month/in Nov/Dec. So you may wait for the notification in my view. In IPCC, you may need to complete ITT and Orientation Trg also. The study material and further course related information is available in below link for your reference.
