EVERY option has there own limitation.A CA in practise can explore his depth knowledge for clients sake & get high self satisfaction & extremely rewarding career.A practising ca also play vital role regarding authentication .But there is also some limitation for example ca can't use his/her other skills here becouse practising area of cas are limited mainly in tax, auditing, accounting, business advising.SO if any ca wants to do equity research, finance management, or if anybody want to use latest software or financial programming he/she can not get it through practise. In uk cas now becoming investmsnt banker which is a new field. As there are many avenues coming in the market, new cas should not stick to practise ,rather they should work in industry, acquire high knowledge in IT,INVESTMENT,MANAGEMENT & OTHER new fields and they should convert themselves as domain expert and after that they may start practise or any other business. And side by side they should also involve in teaching, becouse our country really need good teachers.

But the institute also provides certain courses post CA degrees which can help them enhance their skills in the unchartered territories and then just apply this knowledge in their practice may be by providing such services to their clients... i guess there's nothing a CA can't do only what is required in adequate knowledge...Do u Agree???

Job - since I have selected that option :)
Well it depends on your situation - practice is a high risk-return area - investments are required in infrastructure and importantly time ie a gestation period.
If you are risk averse job is the answer.

hi friends, ya iam agree with nikita that a CA can do enything, but in my opinion practise area is limited not becouse cas capabilities but for restrictions & financial constraints.FOR an example if u want to get a mnc/big company as a client u need two things , a huge infrastructure and industry experience. As a new ca how can u finance this infrastructure. And now in the era of globalisation competitors from abroad is also coming. So in my view cas need more industry exposure at initial stage.I am not against practise but it is true that if u dont have proper experience & capital funds then it will be very risky for practise. And i also want to highlight one thing that ca can also start other business like investment consultancy, outsoursing firm,so in my view cas should join industry first, and when he/she has adequate money and industry experience then he/she can start any business becouse as nikita stated ca is a complete person.

Both are good. do what u love, love what u do. BUT Now a days Jobs are more good option as per me because over long run government is pushing on everything simplified, technology up gradation, automation, digitization and all which will decrease need of CA's interfere and its working areas will decrease will decrease in fees receipts. On the other side in Job ur skills and experience will keep on increasing with no limit and which will appreciate your value continuously.
