Ca merit list awards

Dear Shruti,

Scholarship is for top 10 Rank holders and after that it depends upon the need of the family . Since in your case your family earning is more than 1,50,000 you are not eligible for scholarship .

Hi Sruthi, u will get a merit certificate(plus a letter of appreciation & a list of all rank holders) via post. I dont think there will be any felicitation..

Hi Shruthi..Normally ICAI sends merit certificate seperately. So first u will get the certificate of passing IPCC & later on(around one month later) the merit certificate.

The first three rank holders are invited at the annual function of the ICAI and are awarded the Merit Certificates/Prizes. Earlier the other rankholders used to get the Merit Certificate by Post. Of late, the branches of ICAI are organising Felicitation programmes where Merit Certificates are awarded.

Well, I wasnt aware of the felicitation programme at branch level. Thanks for the updation. I got the merit certificate thru post, but it was a few years back.  

Hi Suraj sir, want to know one thing. Do you know the criteria for best paper award..Is it based on the marks or some other criteria? And wud a student writing only one group be eligible for best paper award if he obtains the highest marks in a particular paper allover India? Pls do reply when u get time.
