Ca firm merger, articleship status

I am an articled assistant. I commenced my articleship around 2 years back. In the articleship agreement, I registered myself under the Principal, who was the proprietor in a firm. Now, the firm has ceased to exist and a partnership firm is created. So do I have to submit any forms and stuff to the ICAI? Or is that not necessary, as I registered myself under the Principal - an individual? (although I did mention that he was a proprietor in the firm - which does not exist any longer) If yes, what is the time limit for submitting the form? Kindly Help... Thanking you in advance...
