Ca final revalidation affects?

I passed ca final group 1 in my 3rd attempt and i didnt clear ca final group 2 still. I applied for revalidation and it was done. Someone told me that if you pass group 2 ie remaining group after revalidation then you cannot claim exemption. Also i want to know that my passing of group 1 is still valid. Nov 16 will be my 7th attempt.
