Quick Summary

This discussion addresses eligibility for the CA Final Old Course May 2021 exams for a candidate who hasn't appeared or filed for several attempts. The key factor is the validity of the CA Final registration, which typically lasts for 5 years. If the registration is still valid, the candidate can proceed with exam preparation. If not, revalidation of the registration by paying a fee is necessary before filing the exam form.

You need to have a valid registration before filing the exam forms.

For CA Final, registration is valid for a period of 5 years (from initial registration or last revalidation, as the case may be).

So, check accordingly. If it will be valid then, then no issues, prepare for exams, otherwise revalidate your registration beforehand by paying Rs. 500.
