i am student of ca final old course. my valdity of 5 years is expiring in nov 18. i have not attempted exams since 2 years. i am planning to give exams in may 19. so will i able to give exams in old course? will i have to validate my registration? also is new exam pattern coming from may 19 applicable for both old and new course?

you can appear in the exam with old course.. while filling the form for may 19..if it ask you to revalidate it, then fill the form available with institute site with some amount and your form will be filled provisionally..or you can take help with ICAI help desk regarding it..

revalidate your registration online through e-services. if you are a new user,while creating login credentials keep scan of passport size photograph,signature and school leaving certificate in JPG/JPEG format.
2) pay revalidation fees of Rs.500
3) check status after 48hrs in student dashboard

Yes,you can appear either in New Syllabus or Old Syllabus till Nov.2020. Option to convert is also thru online mode @ Rs.1000 fees

In case u have cleared any group in old syllabus,need to appear only for pending group or subjects

Me too appearing again pending Group II, followed above procedure for revalidation
