what's the difference between ca fianl new course Vs old cousre ? i appeared for first group this november .. what are the changes ??

The major difference is in New Scheme of CA FINAL
1. ISCA paper is removed
2. In place of ISCA new Optional paper is introduced
3. Optional paper exam is Open Book System with 40% Objective questions
4. Student needs to select optional paper at the time of application for examination

And in fr paper in new course full pledge all ind as applicable... FR major changes... Sfm major changes... Law change... AMA major change... Only DT IDT and Audit is same

Same as in nov 17 paper... Except DT and IDT... ANd may be in law new notification came
Old Course last attempt will be Nov 2020

What if I have cleared my 1st group upto November 2020, therefore would I be obliged to regive my exams for first group again in May 2021.

what about, if a person got Exemption in one subject and wanted to convert to New Syllabus?
Don't do this yar... U r not getting exemption.. First clear that group at least..
After converting from old course to new in Ca final, Can a student get new books from Icai by coupons available on CDS/ICAI site if such student has been collected old scheme books earlier.

I got to know that there is option to change to new syllabus for even single group. I mean if i cleared grp-1 of old sylllabus in may 2018 can i write grp-2 of syllabus ?
Yes u can write for ur remaining group
