Ca final migration from old syllabus to new syllabus

Please read the following question which has been taken from the 57 FAQs on New course issued by our Institute. "Q41: If I have registered for Final (existing scheme) before 30th June, 2017 will I be allowed to switch over to Final (revised scheme) at a later stage? Ans: At any point of time, you can switch over to Final (revised) Course. Q25: When can I register for the Final Course under the Revised Scheme? Ans: The registration under the Revised Scheme for the Final Course will start from July 1, 2017." So what you would need to do is head over to the nearest student council of ICAI 1st July onwards and ask for the procedure to switch over to Final (revised) Course.

If I wish to continue to write group 1 exam under old scheme and suppose passed, later is it possible to register for group 2 under new syllabus

No you can't do so.......

Thank you. I already registered for finals 2yrs before. But didn't attempt exams ever. What is the procedure to migrate to migrate. Do I need to submit new application to migrate to new course. Or can I just select when apply for exam. Right now I am staying outside India. You reply will be a great help.

There are not any procedure for converting the existing scheme to revised scheme for CA exams.

If you will register (for CA Final / Intermediate / Foundation) on or after1st July, 2017 then you will be registered under revised scheme,If you will register upto 30th June, 2017then you will registered as existing scheme student and you have limited no. of attempts as announced by ICAI[1]So, after 30th June, 2017 registration for existing scheme will be closed.

If you are already registered for existing scheme than you can not convert it to revised scheme provided converting will be at same place i.e. CPT-CPT, IPCC-IPCC, FINAL-FINAL.

Accordingly, you may convert by registering under existing for IPCC and than after clearing IPCC you will be under revised scheme and so on.

i had not attempt final exam from  last 10 years,and i register myself with instituee ...

i got letter from institue --dt 15/1/14

note that your registration has been revalideted for fonal course for 5 years with effect of 31-dec-13
