Since elections would be there during the CA final May 2019 attempt, does anyone have an idea generally when would the exams take place ?(May or June)
Also what was the trend in the previous election years ?

Last time elections in 2014 exams started from 26 May and ended on 9 June.
It all depends on election dates released by election commission of India.
If elections are in March and April, exams will be scheduled on time.
If elections are in April and May, exams will be postponed and date will depend on when election gets over.
