Dont Worry you can amicably ask your principal to show less leaves and if he dosent then you would have to serve excess leaves but still there would not be any consequence as a result thereof !!

In my opinion.
As on the date of declaration you can always assume that your term will get completed by 6 months post the first day of exam. Generally extensions are shown offpaper only. Also even if not then you can always say that extension was / is as a result of excess leaves taken after the declaration ie COS was given.

Just have a word with other articles in your firm they will make you understand how extension works out.

The offpaper thing wont apply to me as they have already asked me that whatever the extension would be i need to serve under some other CA after completion of my articleship. which will amount to 8 months extra after my exams. So i have the issue that if i clear my CA final this time..will there be any consequences that I have taken so much of leaves??

You had earlier mentioned 8 months leaves. Now you say that 8 months is over and above the normal leaves allowed. Now this can be tricky. Infact I wonder how can your principal also sign the form that you will complete articleship withing 6 months post the exams.
As on the last day in your current place you and your princi will mention the leaves as 156 + 8 months so that can cause issues.
When is your last day in the current firm. ?

See I havent taken any holidays before till 7th Aug,2016. From 7th Aug till exams i am on leave. So will I be eligible for this attempt?? My last day of articleship in the current firm is 11th September 2017. Will there be any consequences of this!! I am already having a heart attack now..Please help me out!! And i have already submitted my exam form online

Chill exam form you anywhichways had to submit thats fine. I will let you know if theres a way out now.

Post a new query mentioning the details with dates. If theres a similar case and they came out safely then you can get some help.
