SFM- padhukas ..it covered many problems along wid gud explaination on basic concepts. Other books i never referred so dont knw.

DT- G.Shekar or vinod gupta..last time revision is gud in G.shekar
IDT- Bangar and for some chapters u can refer in padhukas. They given in tabular form. Smtimes it wil help even for 1st time reading.
for DT last year shekar has released short book for last time revisions..OR u guys can also buy entire book. DT n IDT . B4 going to buy just see hw they are explained then decide.
If u guys are from karnataka or from bangalore..i have attended only for forex at yashas here in bangalore ..they made it very easy with 1 simple rule. Then i applied the same rule on many many problems given in padhukas.
S D Bala is best for SFM......(also ICAI Practice Manual)

is vineet sodhani's book good for idt? n does it have sums? is it good from self study point of view?
hmmm probs i dont knw in vs. In padhukas many problems including old rtp's r given. So not to worry abt old rtp stuff. Plus they explained by way of bullet points..and tabular form incase of excise procedures. B4 u buy compare this with others.
old rtp problems r v much important. So u get all at 1 place so am suggesting u this. 1st c b4 u buy it.

FR- PRAVEEN SHARMA CLASS NOTES....PRAVEEN SHARMA SIR ALSO GIVE SOME REVISION QUESTION WITH COVER ALL METHOD AND ALL CONCEPT. FOR EXAMPLE IN HOLDING COMPAN THE WLL GIVE ONLY 1 SUM AND COVER ALL HOLDING COMPANY PROBLEM BUT FOR THAT U HAVE TO REFER WHOLE BOOKS IN ONCE.
