Ca final auditing self study
Is it preferable to go for self study for auditing?
if so, what is the best reference book?

There are quite a few books available in the market. The most looked after books are:
- Surbhi Bansal = As it is a concise and easy to study book.
- Padhuka's = A comprehensive book covering past examination questions, RTP / MTP questions
- Vikas Oswal = A good book covering relevant aspects in audit
All the above books are reference material, you choose which is interesting for you. Apart from reference material you must also go through Institute's PM and two or three past RTPs too.

I wud recommend u to go for pankaj garg sir book and practice manual .. Dnt forget to solve atleast past 2 attempts question papers and rtp . Gud luck
