I have already given group 1 of CA final twice and didn't clear the first time and i'm pretty sure i won't be clearing it this time either when the results will come out in ten days. I wanted to give CAT this year, so i was thinking of giving group 1 of CA final and then CAT. Since group 1 exam ends on 8th and CAT 2018 is on 25th November. So right now i can start preparing for both CAT and CA final group 1. Is this a good idea? Or should i just stick with CA. My majority of final group 2 coaching is left and hence i can't give both the groups of CA final together.

You are thinking in right direction, go for this strategy.
CAT isn't easy to crack. How do you plan on managing CA Final Group 1 and CAT at the same time. Remember you need at least 95 percentile to get into even a half decent college.
