pls guide me on the subject of financial reporting.
i secured 20 in my first attempt and 42 in second.
while preparing balance sheet in a practical questions...is it necesaary to write notes to accounts?
i prepare all working notes but not notes to accounts.
Did notes carry more weightage.
I get nervous in attempting holding and amalgamation problems...

See the suggested answers of past 3 years. So you will know whether to prepare notes to accounts or no. Attempt holding and amalgamation problems at the last so your other questions are attempted fairly.
In new format of balance sheet Notes to account is a must & its a part of balance sheet. It carries marks.
Notes to Accounts carry 4 to 5 marks out of 16 so it is must....
