CA Final 1st VS 2nd Group

Dear Ca club Friends,

Firstly wish you are a a happy and prosperous year-2011.

I like to know from your good selves how should i approach my studies now. I have written my first group for three times and could not clear it. The first attempt i failed because of averages and second and third attempt I failed in accounts and MAFA paper respectively.

I have put my heart and soul for studying first group. I have hardly studied second group. I am from old scheme student. Now I have changed to new scheme because of ICAI rules.

I like to know from your good selves whether I should write my 2nd group or 1st group for May-2011, exams.

I do part time accounting jobs as of now. I work for 6 hours a day. My articleship is completed. Please advice.

u mst make a complete assessment of ur weekness or stregths . the real reason of ur failure may b ur study pattern which could b boring or nt upto icai mark ..

the again n again failure make life a hell

as u said u hardly studied the second grp see this is field in which u have to put every efforts to clear the exams but half hearted preparation is not enough and make u more depress after the exams is over.

Its just like a soilder in war without arms & ammunation.

write both group this may 2011..study start from today..take leave for atleast 2 months..write mock papers without looking answers..

do your part time job continue but remaining time u hav to do work hard.

Lets do one thing...

Suppose u have 6 hrs to study...after work...then give 4 hrs to gr1 and 2 hrs to gr 2.

but in those 4 hrs...give 1 hrs to each subject and in those 2 hrs do atleast 3 subjects.

at start u feel that u r having less time for each suject ...but do it for a week and see wonders at ur own.

You are the best judge when it comes to ur own self. Am sure you ll do well this time. Just analyse your self completely WRT to studies and other things in life. Things would automatically improve once u know the facts.
