i am also looking for the answer of same q . i think for deciding this issue we should consider 3 ACTs namely:

1. indian partnership act 1932

2. chartered accountant act 1949 &

3. the company secretaries act 1980

the later 2 acts contain rules and regulation resp. for members of icai and icsi

It's not possible at present to form a mixed professional firm due to code of conduct for different institutes ..however under new limited liability partnership law allows such form ...ICAI, and ICSI are still to come out with regulations in this regards

Hi, A CA can enter into partnership with a CS

(Refer Clause 4 of Part I of First Schedule of CA Act, 1949 &notification No. 118/2008 dated 25-Sep-2008 issued by ICAI)
