Ca+cs

my question may sound a bit repitive but i have no other options...

i want to know that how do people do ca and cs together? i mean as far as the written exams are concerned, its fine. But how do people do the articleship and training simultaneously? i read somewhere that you cannot do the articleship of ca and cs together. So is there an exemption for ca students in the training of cs? or "dummy" is the only option? even there was a girl in the news a few months ago who did ca, cs and icwa together. how is that possible?

a detailed explanation would be helpful...

it is not that doing CA and CS is not allowed….you can do so after taking a proper consent from ICAI in Form 112…I have also done it simultaneously…..and have taken the consent from the institute

@ ankit i want to know that can you do the articleship of ca and cs together? If no, then how have you done it?

No…articleship for CA and CS cannot be done together.

I have done CS articleship immediately after completing CA articleship….But CS articleship can be done with a company also…so you can begin that even after completing CA and joining a Co. you can request  them to give you a certificate for the same

Also, even if you don’t do the CS articleship, you wont get the ICSI membership.

But then Pritha, you need to decide as to what line interests you…just because your maths is good doesn’t not mean that you should go for Actuary…or MBA etc….

You should find out about the kind of work that filed involves, whether you are comfortable with it etc….because it is not just about passing the exams…..

if i want to go for finance then what should i choose?

Even for Finance, you can take up CS.

though people would suggest CFA and all....but you have to appreciate the fact, that every financial decission has to have a legal angle to it....be it the takeover  code or the SEBI regulations....

just because an analysis sounds good, it does not mean there can be no other hurdles...

so as i have told you before as well......what is it that you are interested into????

ou want to do CS and go for something into the legal side....or go for a CFA and take up the research and analysis side.....

but what is your interest into????
