This is realy a brilliant starting by ICAI.

CA is a professional course, you must be thorough in theoritical as well as preactical knowlegde. Today you can do medicine/engineering/MBA only if you have money stenghth or sponcer from some one. But CA you will be trained in real life situations and paid with stiphend also. This is an ocean of knowledge and experience that money cannot buy. One of my friend from remote village, weak in mathematics (scored 35% in SSC) and do not know how to talk over telephone, passed CA and now he is working in a big MNC. He has no guide because his father was a agriculturise with 4th standard school drop out. Likewise there are so many CAs passed and now leading a respectful life and made this without any support. Now a days students are having websites, CDs, private tutions,Mentors and also advertisement by ICAI to guide throughout the course All studends are perfect and complete to take any challenge in life. You have a diamond in you. Unless it is subjected to hard process, it will not shine. So passing CA is not spending money or enjoying a lazy life. A very good initiative by ICAI but article ship is some what difficult and reduces the preparation time.

better late than never.
ICAI has never had this kind of competetion frm other Finance-related courses.
so hopefully its a positive change and that more students r attracted.
