Yes. Indeed there needs to be an association. We are not given with any rights whats so ever! We need to form it to face the problems created by CA's.

I am agree with Ricky.There must be a means of raising the grievances of the students of the course.But I am sure that our Institute will not favour the Proposal.

Thank's to all for their reply's. Well such thing can happen if we take this website as a base and aware everyone about this thought, i beleive that atleast 75% of the member's will be in favour. And yes the Institute will not readily accept this but we are CA student's "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE". We can make an appeal and then wait for the Institute to react, but this will require the support of many student's.

First let's take veiws of some more student's and then decide!

FOR THE KIND INFORMATION OF ALL OF YOU ALREADY THERE IS AUTHORISED AOOSICATION OF CA STUDENTS IN ALL THE FIVE REGIONS OF ICAI. IF AT ALL THERE IS ANY GENUINE PROBLEM TO ANY STUDENT, THE STUDENT CAN CONTACT TO THE CA STUDENT ASSOCIATION OF THE RESPECTIVE REGION. THE FIVE ASSOCIATIONS IN THE COUNTRY ARE WELL KNOWN BY THEIR SHORT NAMES. I WILL LET YOU KNOW STILL FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

WESTERN INDIA CA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (WICASA)

EASTERN INDIA CA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (EICASA)

NORTHERN INDIA CA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (NICASA)

SOUTHERN INDIA CA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (SICASA)

CENTRAL INDIA CA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (CICASA)

ALL THESE ASSOCIATIONS ARE AFFILIATED WITH ICAI. SO NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS AS IT TAKES WELL CARE OF THE PROBLEM OF STUDENTS. I REPEAT ONLY GENUINE PROBLEMS NOT THE ONE CREATED BY THE STUDENTS FOR OPPOSING THE PROVISIONS OF THE ICAI REGULATIONS.

Sir we know about them, but they are useless for us(students)

we all know that their chairpersons are members of icai(why not students)

and they are elected by general voting. Students generally face problem with their employer and that tym Any Sicasa/wicasa chairman will favor the CA bCoz he holds the power of voting

in conclusion i think that in election of regional student association we (students) should be the only voters
