Is C.A is really for Mid class Persons???

Think !

Think!!

Think!!!

My answer is BIG NO!

One of my friend is facing very severe problem and asked me a Question.......Whether C.A course is really available for all class of Person? Is it really available for me? Should i quit C.A at this level?

Actually my Friend is working with a company.....and he is getting good salary to serve his family needs as he is the only bread earner for them....BUT he is not a C.A yet!

He has cleared his IPCC (Coaching was not available for him due to financial & office timings Problems).......still he manages the same.......now its time for Articleship joining...........What??? For articleship he has to leave his Job.....and forgot about his earnings from the job.........So, what??? Leave the job.....forgot about your family needs & join the articleship OR sacrifice your aim to claim C.A degree.

This is really frustrating moment for him and obeviously for me too.

very true it is very difficult for mid class people to do CA

for me too.,

dont ignore family needs,,,, even reading ca is also for good stabled life, so when hs is only bread earner in family and is having job.. it is wrong to make his family suffer for financial cricess due to his fulfilling his aim.

but there is some solution for him.. may be it takes two three months but.. let him search for any good CA firm who is also rendering accounting services to clients.. where he may get good stifund for articleship more than his  present job salary.. then he may join that firm and do articleship and get salary/stifund equal to hiis present salary..

but he has to search for it... and explore all ca firms near by and meeting them personally and explaining his work capablities etc... all the best...where ther is will there is way.

@ Mr. Ashok: I agree with you.

@ Mr. Vishwanath: your suggestion is very good....i'll give him same advice.....Thanks!

@ Jet Aime: I agree with you......but not fully......bcoz all things (Coaching, money etc) can be set aside BUT WHAT ABOUT ARTICLESHIP PERIOD SPECIALLY FOR THIS CASE......Think again!......Thanks!

Ask him not to leave the present job otherwise survival of  his family will go topsyturvy !

.

ICAI wont care about his family situations. Its only he can help himself!

.

Instead ask him to do roving equiry for dummy articleship !

.

Since Articleship experience wont be given a single rupee value in Industries.!

.

So tell him not to worry .!

R u serious???

It could be a matter of arguments on CCI

I think CA is among the least expensive professional courses in India........comparing it with courses like  Engg, Medical etc. cost of doing CA is nothing.

I am not agree cA is for mid class family to break the barrier. - suggest he should di following or call me 9891743321

Hi Kumar,

I am not sure whether this suggestion will help you or not. But trying upto my level.

I never encourage to leave family needs and all..thats not at all fair and i can understand the family huddles.

Not sure where your friend is working, but we have some companies who offers good pay for articleship period.

Tell him to check with the current company if he can do his articleship in his company itself. If not tell him to try in the Big 4 companies like PWC , KPMG, E&Y & Deloitte.

Articleship will be like working with good pay out as what he is getting in these companies.

Try these ways.... All the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CA is for all classes of people............but all classes people have personal problems,,,it doesnt mean dat d course is not for dat class of people.

CA is the cheapest course frm all the courses in india it simply means dat CA is for all classes.

Dear kumar ur frnds problem comes under exceptional cases.SAme things happen with a middle class family but having two brothers thn one can complete his CA by leaving job n family needs are fulfill by one brother but d same wanna do any other courses thn he reqiure more money as compared to CA couse.

M nt debating anybody m just giving my opinion. If anyone agreed thn thanks n if not thn m so sorry for dat.

Dear All

This is the problem being faced by me. I am working in finance and taxation section of a 700 crores turnover limited company since last thirteen years. have cleared my ipcc this November 2012.

want to take admission in CA final but articleship is being a real headache for me. Leaving the job and doing articleship will mean survival problem for me and thereafter there is no guarantee of passing CA Final exam. isn't 13 years experience with the industries is not enough. To survive in a Limited Company requires a lot including hard work, attitude, manners and knowlege. All other institutes are honouring the practical experience.

I don't want to take dummy articleship as this can ruin my carrier at any time

nothing can be worse than quitting CA because of institute's policy.

Manoj

ye sahi hai .ek middle class +family and personal problem

@ Mr. Manoj: I am fully agree with you as he is also in the same position as you are.....the only difference is that he is having 7+ years working experience in Accounts & Taxation.

Dear All

In addition to the our discussions, last night he was very very upset and he has decided to QUIT his C.A..........because he can't ignore his family needs......

Now, tell me what 'ill be your opinion???

He is working in a reputed company in Accounts & Taxation with expeirnce of 7+ years on the pay scale of 20k P.m (With 10-15% annual growth)........so should he quit his job to start his articleship or not?

Comments!

Dear Gaurav

quit must be the last option. Situation is tough and requires a kind employer as well as kind CA. God is great and will help.

manoj
