C.A. Final

Hi Friends,

I passed C.A. Final Group II in May 2002.

However, I have not been able to appear for C.A. Final Group I exams since then as I got a job overseas and permanently relocated out of India.

Now i intend to appear for Group I exams. Since it will require a lot of preparation, I am thinking of appearing in May 2010 exams. In this regard, can spmeone please advise?

1) What syllabus will I be under?

2) Does non-appearance for 8 years affect my Group II result in any way? I mean, is there any provision by which my Group II reault becomes void since I was not able to clear Group I for so long?
