Business and salary income

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to handle both business and salary income when filing your income tax return. While business income is reported on the Profit & Loss account and balance sheet for the business itself, salary income is typically reported separately in your overall income tax computation. It's generally not mixed into the business balance sheet unless the salary funds are directly invested into the business, in which case they might be reflected as capital introduced.
