Bullish outlook of Tata Steel

We are pretty bullish again on Tata Steel. Steel cycle still remains very strong globally, prices in fact have been going up and we believe that Tata Steel now being 26 million tonne company has obviously got much more leveraged than some of the other players if the steel cycle remains strong.

Over the next few years obviously, there will be the benefit of takeover of Corus and this is going to increase the margins of the whole business so there is a lot of upside. we believe that Tata Steel still has a lot of value and it is a good long-term hold and even a buy.

Vbulls, are there any mid-size steel companies that are attractive. Can you tell me what are key factors to be looked into when we buy a steel stock ?

hi, steel stocks undergo cyclic movement, generally. tata steel is good bet. the reurns of corus buy-out will be seen next quarters. sometimes large cap give assured and more returns compared to mid cap. so don't be particular about size of market capital. our aim is profit only.

My aim is to hold the stock for a longer term (3-5years). I am looking for small/mid size company which has potential for fast growth, riding the cycle. I understand Tatal Steel is a safe bet, but I am looking for a smaller companies with good fundamentals and promising growth trajectory.
